James Lindsey, Jr.

Asheville – James “Jimmy” Lindsey, Jr., 69, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a son of Marjorie Dalton Lindsey and the late James Ernest Lindsey, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents and aunt, Thelma Wright. James was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Deborah Chappell; children: James Lindsey and wife Jennifer; Jarett Lindsey and Crystal, Gabriel Lindsey, and Miriam Lindsey; grandchildren: Keagan, and Emmaline; sisters: Janet Phillips, and Rebecca McCrary and husband Thomas; brother, Mark Lindsey and wife Jackie; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Sky View Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Billy King officiating.
