James Kerekanich

Asheville James Joseph Kerekanich, 58, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Care Partners John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Oil City, PA, Mr. Kerekanich was self employed as a welder in North Carolina, and the former owner of a tree trimming service in Florida. He is the son of Bonita Joan Montgomery Kelley of Bradenton, FL, and the late Robert Joseph Kerekanich. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Debbi McLaughlin. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his sons, James Kerekanich and Kenneth Kerekanich; a brother, Dennis Kerekanich of Franklin, PA; brother-in-law, Jeffery McLaughlin of Bradenton, FL; loving uncle, Robert Montgomery of Jacksonville, NC; 5 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. No services are planned at this time. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting Mr. Kerekanichs family.
