James Kenneth Scott

Asheville ~ James Kenneth Scott, 68, Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Elizabeth House.

Born March 25, 1955, in Redbank New Jersey, James spent most of his life in sunny Green Acres Florida and in 1979 Married his loving wife, Linda. In 1990 James moved to Western North Carolina.

James worked for Walmart for 22 years as well as serving his community as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He was a longtime member of Covenant Community United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Scott and Dora Catherine Bennett Scott; brother David Scott; and sister, Irma Scott.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Scott; a sister, Dorothy Scott; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life Service will be held at a later date at Covenant Community United Methodist Church located at 11 Rocket Dr #100, Asheville, NC 28803.
