Candler - James Dean Fuzzy Clayton, 42, of 278 Warrens Creek Road died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at University of Virginia Medical Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia following a long illness. A native of Charlotte, NC, he had resided in Buncombe County the past 14 years. He was self-employed as a Metal Fussion Technician and a member of Edgewood Baptist Church where a member of the Faith Sunday School Class. Mr. Clayton was a son of Nancy Ludwig Clatyon of Asheville and the Late James DeJose Clayton. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Sandra Warren Clayton of the home; step father, Nick Sinclair of Free Union, Virginia; son, Jacob Dean Clayton of the home; step daughter, Angela Yvonne Blackwell of the home; grandson, Zavion Blackwell; sister, Misty Price of Asheville; brothers, Robert Clayton of Raleigh, Ron Jon Clayton of Asheville. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Edgewood Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Shelton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Mr. Claytons family to help with funeral expenses.
