CANDLER - JAMES CLINTON JUSTICE, 82, OF 360 BENNETT ROAD, DIED TUESDAY DECEMBER 26, 2000 AT MEMORIAL MISSION HOSPITAL. A NATIVE OF HAYWOOD COUNTY HE HAD LIVED MOST OF HIS LIFE IN NEW YORK BEFORE MOVING TO BUNCOMBE COUNTY 23 YEARS AGO. HE RETIRED FROM POWER AUTHORITY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK AS AN ELECTRICIAN. HE WAS A W.W.II ARMY VETERAN AND A MEMBER OF THE VFW POST # 9939. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE FRED L. AND ZENNIA ISRAEL JUSTICE. SURVIVING ARE HIS WIFE, JENNETTE SMITH JUSTICE; DAUGHTERS, MARTHA SNELL OF CANDLER, JUNE CRAWFORD OF ARLINGTON, VA AND RACHEL CASH OF LOCKPORT, NY; SONS, WAYNE JUSTICE OF WAYNESVILLE, STEWART JUSTICE OF HENDERSONVILLE AND PAUL JUSTICE OF FAIRVIEW; SISTER, VIRGINIA FOELF OF WILLIAMSVILLE, NY; 14 GRANDCHILDREN AND 4 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 P.M. FRIDAY IN THE MONTMORENCI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, OF WHICH HE WAS A MEMBER. THE REV. DAN LYONS WILL OFFICIATE. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS FOLLOWING THE SERVICE. MEMORIALS MAY BE MADE TO; MONTMORENCI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH BUILDING FUND, P.O. BOX 610, CANDLER, NC 28715.
