James Charles "Jc" Dyer

James Charles "JC" Dyer, 70, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Charles George VA Medical Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a Veteran of the US Army and a member of Connection Point Church. He was a son of the late Clarence Dyer and Bobbie Cook Dyer Styles. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Dyer, and a step-son, William David Camby, Jr. Surviving are his wife, Betty Young Dyer; son, James Allen Dyer; sisters: Brenda Johnson, and Jackie Cole; brother, Terry Dyer; 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 3 great-grandsons, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. J.L. Young officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Military Honors by the N.C. National Guard Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
