Jacqueline Ann Pippin Ellege, 54, of Monroe, VA passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of Wendell Paul Ellege. Born November 18, 1967 in Charlottesville, VA, she was the daughter of Carl D. Pippin of Arrington and Ann Evans King of Monroe, VA. She was an employee of Georgia Pacific and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, Jacqueline is survived by her children, Nolan Ryan Buckner of Marshall, Chad Curtis Ellege (Rachel) of Leicester, Sheree Ellege (Mark King) of Fairview, and Jonathan Hounsell (Emily) of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, James Dean Pippin of Arrington, VA; three half-brothers, Daniel King (Amanda) of Monroe, VA, Wayne Pippin and Bobby Dean Pippin, both of Arrington, VA and six grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted, Monday, February 21, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon), at Whitten Monelison Chapel in Madison Heights, VA with Pastor Peyton Fitzgerald and Pastor Mark Cheatham officiating. The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m. A second funeral service will be held, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Leicester Baptist Church in Leicester, NC with Pastor Chad Ellege officiating. Interment will follow in Leicester Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the church. Anders & Rice Funeral Home, Asheville is in charge of local arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center, 1240 Lee Street, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
