Jack R. Roberts

Asheville - Jack R Roberts, 82, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018 at Mission Hospital. A native and resident of Buncombe County, Mr. Roberts retired from Kearfott Corporation after 35 years of service. Mr. Roberts was the son of the late Chester A. and Thelma B. Roberts. He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Patricia Roberts. Surviving are one daughter, Charlotte Lyda, two sisters, Joy Taylor and June Foster both of Asheville, two grandchildren and one niece and nephew. Graveside services will be held 2 PM Monday, October 1, 2018 at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 till 1:45 PM Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
