Jack Clifton Rathbone

Candler Jack Clifton Rathbone, 59, of Candler, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 20, 2008. He was a member of Stoney Fork Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Alton Rathbone, and by a brother, Gerald Rathbone. Surviving are his mother, Lucille Rathbone; son, BJ; daughter, Amanda; sisters, Geraldine, Linda and Judy; brother, David; adopted brother, Randy Moss and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rathbone Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to his family to help with funeral expenses. Jack was always there for his family and friends and was a very loving Daddy. WE WILL MISS YOU!
