Ivan K. Davis

Seneca, SC Ivan Kenneath Davis, 88, of 2004 Manila Drive, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Brookside Nursing Center in Anderson, SC, following a period of declining health. A native of St. Clair County, AL. He was a former dispatcher for Winn-Dixie and a US Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Davis was the son of the late Lawson Brown Davis and Hattie Marvin Smith Davis and the husband of Thelma Lucille Rowell Davis, who passed away March 7, 1997. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Joe Davis. Surviving are his daughter, Donna Dodson and husband Sam of Seneca; three sons: Tony Davis and wife Kathy of Yulee, FL, David Davis and wife Jan of Jacksonville, FL, and Rev. Fred Davis and wife Joyce of Vancouver, British Columbia; and three grandchildren: Shana Davis of Vancouver, Eric Davis and wife Elise of Seattle, WA, and Michele Davis of Clearwater, FL. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday at Pisgah View Memorial Park, with the Rev. Fred Davis officiating.
