Howard Donald Overman

Candler – Howard Donald Overman, 73, of 70 White Rock Branch Road, Candler, passed away on May 2, 2021 at the John F. Keever Solace Center after an extended illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Lula Cody Overman; brothers: Edward and Jimmie Overman; and a sister, Mary Angel. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Kelly Overman (Jessica); daughter, Stacey Walsh (Rob); special niece (his buddy), whom he loved dearly, Michelle Watts Chasteen; brother, Sam Overman; sister, Kathy Overman; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his dog Maggie and cat Missie. The family would like to offer a heartfelt “Thank You” to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the John F. Keever Center for the care and compassion he received. A service to remember and celebrate Howard’s life will be held privately at a later date.
