Henrietta Fisher Jarvis

Franklin - Henrietta Fisher Jarvis, 92, of 68 N. Skeenah Road died Tuesday - February 28 at Britthaven of Franklin. A native and resident of Buncombe County for most of her life, she was a daughter of the late Henry Fisher and Pansy Roberts Fisher Penley. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Helen Earp, Hazel Harris and Shirley Paull. Surviving are her husband of 75 years, Robert William Jarvis of the home; twin sons, Ralph N. Jarvis and wife Marge of St. Petersburg, FL. and Ray H. Jarvis and wife Mary of Greensboro; daughters, Ann Millington of Hendersonville, Linda Brinkley and husband Phil of Asheville and Loretta Sanders of Franklin; sisters, Madge Neal of Hickory and Lucy Boston of Lenoir; brother, Don Penley of Long Island, NY; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Revs. Robert E. Harris and Randy Drennon officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Pisgah View Memorial Park with grandsons serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Prentiss Baptist Church % Faye Wilson, 605 Middle Skeenah Road, Franklin, NC 28734. The family will receive friends 1 hour before services at the funeral home.
