Helga Grossmann Silver

Asheville - Helga Grossman Silver, 58, of 71 Wellington Street, died unexpectedly Monday January 21, 2002 at Memorial Mission Hospital. She was a native of Bad-Vilbel, Germany and had resided in Asheville since 1973. She had worked over 15 years for Clothing Care Center as an attendant and was a Diamond Card Member of the Cherokee Casino. She was a daughter of the late Emil Alfred and Elfriede Ullmann Grossmann. Surviving are her husband, Thomas Richard Silver of Tucson, Arizona; sons, Michael R. Silver, Rick Thomas Silver, Russel Scott Silver and Billy Joe Silver all of Asheville; grandchildren, Sabrina Marie Silver, Katelyn Ceira Silver and Colton Scott Silver; sisters, Adele, Elfriede, Christa and Ingrid; brother, Gerald; sisters in law, Margaret Holland, Peggy Jaramillo, Jackie Freeman and Wanda Ball; brothers in law, Donald Silver and Jr. Silver. Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends following the service at the Funeral Home. She will always be remembered and never forgotten.
