Helen Joan Glenn Worley

Fletcher Helen Joan Glenn Worley, 65, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Park Ridge Hospital. A native of Buncombe County, Mrs. Worley had resided in the area for most of her life. She retired from Wilsonart as a receptionist, and was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Louella McKinney Glenn. Surviving are her husband, Horace Lee Worley, Sr.; son, Horace Lee Worley, Jr. of Charlotte; daughter, Sherrie Lynn Worley of Arden; sisters: Lucy Hardison of Seattle, WA, and Carolyn Briggs of Burnsville; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with the Rev. Carroll Melton officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Worleys memory to ones favorite charity or organization.
