Harry Lee Harrell

Asheville Harry Lee Harrell, 34, passed away Thursday - October 5, 2006 in Savannah, GA. A native of Oklahoma City, OK, he resided in Asheville most of his life. He was a member of Grassy Branch Baptist Church, a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School and a former member of Boy Scouts Troop #53. He was the son of Betty Christine Slagle Harrell of Asheville and the late J. L. Harrell. Surviving in addition to his mother are his sisters, Joan Wheeler and husband Ronnie of Asheville and Mary Jean Curtis of Waynesville and 2 nephews, Seth and Jarod Wheeler. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday at Grassy Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Sausedo officiating. A private burial will be held Saturday at Skyview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following services at the church.
