Harriett Snelson

Asheville - Harriett Louise Hunter Snelson, 77, of 3 Huntington Road died Saturday - December 31, 2005 at The Laurels of Summit Ridge after a period of declining health. A native of McDowell County, she had lived in Buncombe County for most of her life and was a longtime member of Groce United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Kincaid Hunter. Surviving are her husband, Larry Snelson of the home and sons, Harry Snelson and fiancee Jan Luquire of Burgaw and Bill Snelson and wife Mitzi of Alexandria, Va. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
