Greta Suzanne Angel

Greta Suzanne Burleson Angel, 47, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she is the daughter of Susan Elizabeth Spencer of Asheville and Larry Dale Burleson and his wife Debra Swilling Burleson of Merritt Island, FL. She is preceded in death by her aunt, Dianne Reeves and father-in-law, Floyd Angel. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Steven Lee Angel; children: Seth Burleson and wife Emerald, Diamond Burleson, Brooklyn Angel, Sebastian Angel, River Angel, and Reece Angel all of Candler; grandchildren: Chase and Colton Burleson of Candler; brothers: Rodney Burleson and wife Debby of Leicester, Jason Burleson and wife Samantha of Candler, and David Burleson and wife Kezia of Candler; lifelong friends: Brenda Warren, and Leslie Profita; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at New Bridge Baptist Church, 199 Elkwood Avenue, Woodfin, NC 28804, with Rev. Mike Wilson Officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Angel family to assist with funeral expenses, C/O Anders-Rice Funeral Home, 1428 Patton Avenue, Asheville, NC 28806.
