Gregory Joe Littrel

Asheville - Gregory Joe "Iceman" Littrel, 44, Died unexpectedly Friday December 17, 2010. Gregory was born in Heidelburg, Germany and had lived most of his life in Asheville. He was a truck driver for Crete Carrier Corp. He was a son of Shirley J. Littrel of Leicester and the late Leroy Riley Littrel. Surviving in addition to his mother are his sisters, Cricket Christopher and Ron Perez both of Asheville and Lisa Lance and husband Lloyd of Candler; brother, Richard Littrel of Leicester and 5 nieces and nephews, Lori Carey, Colby Christopher, Manny Perez, Sierra Lance and Haley Johnston. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral home with Rev. Robert L. James officiating. Burial will be in Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
