Gregory "Greg" Bieksha, P.E.

Candler – Gregory John “Greg” Bieksha, P.E., 64, passed away Saturday, July 4th at the Inman Healthcare Center in Inman, SC. Greg was born October 23, 1955 in Elizabeth, NJ and was a native of Clark, NJ prior to moving to Buncombe County in 2006. He was the son of the late Vincent Thomas Bieksha and Stephanie Victoria Modliszewska Bieksha and was also preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent Keith Bieksha and Gary Thomas Bieksha and niece, Andrea Bieksha. Greg was a Mechanical Engineer having received his Associates Degree in Engineering Technology from Union County College in 1975, Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1977 and Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Western New England University in 1994. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and member of Montmorenci United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Joan Mary Bieksha of the home; sons, Matthew James Bieksha of Candler and David Carl Bieksha of Asheville and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held and announced at a later date.
