ASHEVILLE Grace Simpson Cable, 77, of Crowell Square Apartments went to be with her Lord Friday, September 11, 2009 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Luke Nat Simpson and Floy Grace Forrester Simpson and wife of Charles Evans who died in 1980 and Frank Cable who died in 1994. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Lytle Ball and son, Lenny Lytle. Mrs. Cable was a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church and former member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Garry Lytle of Staunton, VA; daughters, Susie Black and husband Kim of Candler and Lisa Worley and husband Steve of Marion; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Thurman and Rev. Roy Rector officiating. Burial will follow in Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home and at other times, the family will be at the home of Kim & Susie Black, 21 English Place, Candler, N.C.
