Gloria Ann Barber

Fletcher – Gloria Ann Barber, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at AdventHealth Hendersonville.

A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she graduated in the 1961 class of Clyde A. Erwin High School. Gloria loved life and was always the life of the party. She was one-of-a-kind and always had a sense of fashion that nobody could compete with. Her favorite place to travel was Las Vegas where she enjoyed gambling and living life. She was a great friend and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Gloria was the daughter of the late Guy Robinson and Opal Lee Ayers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, John T. Barber; son, Johnny Lee Barber and wife Karen; grandson, Jared Lee Barber; great-grandson, Jackson Barber; best-friends: Mandi Banks, Breana Banks, and Brenda Hensley; and many extended family and friends.
