Gladene Parker Reneau

Asheville - Gladene Parker Reneau, 81, died Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at Mission Hospitals, Memorial Campus, following a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church and was retired from the Asheville Citizen-Times Circulation Dept. Mrs. Reneau was the daughter of the late Charles Mitchell and Myrtle Rhymer Parker and was the wife of the late William Lynn Reneau who died in 1989. Surviving are her son, William Paul Reneau of Asheville; sister, Mildred Plemmons and husband J.R of Asheville; brother, Bill Parker and wife Evelyn of Enka; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. J.R. Plemmons and Dick Eley officiating. Entombment will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
