Gioacchino "Jack" Vanerelli Sr.

Gioacchino Jack Vanerelli, Sr., 85, died Thursday, September 5, 2013. Jack was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was the son of the late Gioacchino and Elizabeth DiPietro Vanerelli. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dante Floccher; two sisters, Rosa and Helen; a son Jackie Vanerelli; a daughter, Gail Hales; a granddaughter, Calaine Angelopolous; and a grandson, Charles Angelopolous. Surviving are his wife, Sally Vanerelli; a daughter, Carol Moorer; two sons, Anthony J. Vanerelli, and Gioacchino Jackie Vanerelli, Jr.; four granddaughters: Caley, Cynthia, Andrea, and Alyssa; a grandson, Dante; nieces & nephews: Dante Floccher, Jr, Ann Marie Rowe, Nancy Heydrick, Janie Hall, and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:30 till 8:30 PM. Burial will be at the Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
