Georgia Burrell Allen

Summerville, SC – Georgia Burrell Allen, 86, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Summerville Medical Center.

A native of Asheville, she resided in Summerville, SC for the past 20 years. She was the daughter of the late Bert Mason Burrell and Hattie Lee Curtis Burrell, and wife of the late John G. Allen. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Bubby Burrell, Toby Burrell, and Bobby Creech.

Surviving are her children: David Allen and wife Sandra, Cheryl Feathers and husband Mark, and John Allen Jr.; grandchildren: Holly Miller and husband Thomas, Melissa Feathers, Joshua Feathers and wife Tamara, Susan Amanda Wallen, and Jeremy Allen and wife Apasra; great-grandchildren: Tanner Johnson, Brayden Bolt, Savannah Worley, Chandler Johnson, Hayden Johnson, Marley Miller, Axel Odom, Trey Allen, and Kalena Allen; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the Piney Grove Cemetery, 372 Bee Tree Rd, Swannanoa, NC 28778.
