Asheville – George Robert “Loren” Ingle, 95, of 108 Appalachian Way, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Mission Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he retired from Lowes TV Service as an Electronic Technician. He was a member of Eagle Rock Church and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (A.O.P.A.) and was a Recreational Pilot.
He was a son of the late Dallas Ardelious Ingle and Fleta Ballard Ingle, and husband of Lorene Givens Ingle who died December 25, 2021. He was also preceded in death by daughter, Teri Witt; sister, Clara Torrence; brothers: Howard, Preston, Jack, David, and Reuben Ingle.
Surviving are his daughters: Diana Lynn Ingle of Asheville and Melissa Dawn Ingle of the home; grandchildren: Ray Hayman, Jr., Jason Coyle (Krystal), Bryan Coyle, Jennifer Coyle, Gail Roberts (Earl), Angie Xhakolli (Dritan), and Clint Penley; great-grandchildren: Cory, Laurel, Andrew, Kalyn, Breanna, Joshua, Jonathan, Joey, Tanner, Brinley, Jase, and Alexis; great-great-grandson, Jasper; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 7, 2023, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Ramona Nix officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
