Gene "Carroll" Revis

Fairview – Carroll left his earthly body to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 22, 2023, at his residence.

Carroll was the President of Graveyard Resurrection Rodz ‘N Kustomz Car Club where he held car shows for those in need during health crisis or loss of a loved one. Carroll loved the classic cars and it was his passion. He was a friend to all who met him. His favorite jeep was almost daily seen at Kounty Line in Fairview greeting his friends in the community he loved.

He was also preceded in death by his mother, Etta Revis who died 23 years ago on the same day; his Daddy, Lloyd Revis; sister, Olene Revis; and two great-grandchildren, Talon Wycoff and Baby J Thompson.

Surviving are his daughters, Julie Thompson and Krista Courtney; son, Nate Revis; brother, Lloyd Revis, Jr.; sisters, Linda Hembree and Tenna Behm; grandsons, Austin Crouse, and Maverick Courtney; granddaughters: Haley Thompson, Aubrey Thompson, and Emorie Courtney; his beloved dog, Kimo; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, September 28, 2023, at The Place Fellowship Church, 2 Laura Jackson Rd, Fairview, NC 28730, with Pastor Willard Pruitt officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3 till 4:45 PM Thursday at the church.

A procession of the Graveyard Resurrection Rodz ‘N Kustomz Car Club and classic cars along with his family and friends will leave from Anders-Rice Funeral Home on Patton Avenue at 2:10 PM on Thursday to travel together to the church, and again from the church to the funeral home following the service. The family request if you have a club t-shirt to wear it to his service.

Pallbearers will be  Anthony Thompson, Austin Crouse, Bob Behm, Caleb Wyoff, Darrell Waldrop, and Eugene Waldrop.
