Gary Dale Glance

Candler Gary Dale Glance, 55, of 39 Lollis Road, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. A native of Haywood County, he had resided in Buncombe County most of his life and was a Roofing Contractor. Gary was the son of the late Kenneth Earl Glance and Peggy Ann Propest Haney and was also preceded in death by his step father, David Haney, aunts, Louise Edwards and Brenda Michales and cousin, Steve Queen. Surviving are his wife, Tara Michelle Gragg Glance; son, Gary Dale Little Gary Glance, Jr. and daughter, Brittany Glance and their mother, Sandi McLain; sister, Tamra Taylor and husband Marvin and several nieces, nephews and cousins, including his special cousin, Dale Queen and special friend, Debbie Bates and son, Tyler Bates. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Candler House of Prayer. Burial will follow in New Morgan Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
