Frieda White Roberts

Asheville Frieda Ann White Roberts, 85, of 380 Brevard Road, passed peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Aston Park Health Care Center. A native and resident for most of her life of Buncombe County, she retired in 1994 from Bank of America where she served as Executive Assistant to the Vice-President for the Commercial Lending. She was a 1951 graduate of Black Mountain High School and was a 1953 graduate of Montreat College with degrees in Business Science and was of the Presbyterian faith. Ms. Roberts was the daughter of the late John Richard White, Jr. and Muriel Louise Bass Daniels. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Young White and John Richard White; sister, Frances Alexander and grandson, Eric Taylor. Surviving are her sons, Lamar Roberts and D.K. Pudge Roberts both of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Teresa Roberts of Candler and grandson, Drake Hamilton Roberts and his mother, Gina S. Roberts both of Greenville, SC.
