St. Petersburg, FL – Frank “Buggs” Cutshaw, Jr, 78, died Tuesday, February 18, 2020, in Hospice care in St. Petersburg, FL, where he was spending time at his winter home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Belva Wallin Cutshaw and wife, Betty Davis Cutshaw. He is survived by his brother, Truett Cutshaw of Asheville; sisters, Josephine DeVinney and Lana Robinson both of Asheville and Patricia Inwood of Gainesville, Georgia; his very special lady, Marlene Lance Williams, two nephews, one niece, two great nephews and two great nieces, a step-son and lifelong friend, Orva Lee Roberts. Frank attended Clyde A. Erwin High School but dropped out to join the Army at the height of the Vietnam War. He was deployed to Germany instead of Vietnam but while there he studied and completed his GED and received his diploma. Upon completion of his military service, Frank entered the automobile sales industry and spent his entire life in that profession. Most of his career was with Robert’s Auto Sales. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral home, with a memorial service to follow. Cremains will be interred at Western North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
