Asheville - Frances Eva Morgan Burris, 69, formerly of Holly Hill, FL, died Sunday October 21, 2001at the residence of her son. A native of Buncombe County. She had retired from America Enka Corporation and was a member of Faith Tabernacle. She was the daughter of the late James S. Sr. and Roxann Medford Morgan and wife of the late Hank Burris. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Holebrooks and husband, Don of Asheville; son, Pastor Jerry Watts and wife, Trish of Asheville; brothers, Carl Morgan and wife, Juanita Bozie of Candler, James S. Morgan, Jr. of Asheville, Joe Morgan and wife, Nadine of Fletcher and Rev. Alvin Morgan and wife Priscilla of Brevard; grandchildren, Tim Hightower, Stephanie Ward, Larry Boggess, Jr., Daniel Watts, Joshua Boggess and Misty Holebrooks; great grandchildren, Brittany Hightower, Jennifer Ward, Cody Ward and Karry Boggess and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Faith Tabernacle, 36 Michigan Ave., with Pastor Jerry Watts and Rev. Alvin Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of Pastor Jerry Watts, 904 Riceville Road.
