Florence Mochel

Asheville - Florence Mochel, 96, formerly of 800 Oconeechee Avenue, Black Mountain and a former resident of Columbia, SC and Springdale, SC for forty years, died Sunday, August 4, 2002 at Fleshers Fairview Health Care Center. A native of Citrus County, Florida. Mrs. Mochel was the daughter of the late Thomas David and Sadie Ellen Soper Graham. She was the former wife of Clyde J. Reddick, Sr. formerly of Savannah, Ga. and Walter C. Roberts and Rudolph Mochel both formerly of Columbia. She was also preceded in death by a grandson. Surviving are her son, Clyde J. Reddick, Jr. and his wife, Peggy both of Black Mountain, one granddaughter, three great grandsons and a number of step children. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Olympia Cemetery in Columbia, S.C. with Mr. Howard Carico officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
