Florence Mae Case Hugg

Asheville – Florence Mae Case Hugg, 66, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at CarePartners Solace Center.

She was a native of Douglas, WY, and had worked for Madden ACE Hardware at River Ridge. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Jane Thompson Case.

Surviving are her longtime companion whom she married in 2014, Thomas “Ray” Hugg; children: Shawn Allen Tschida and Carrie Barney; step daughter, Gabby Woody; grandchildren: Alex Seiver, Issac Seiver, Seth Seiver, Bryce Tschida, Kaylin Tschida, Brady Tschida, and Mazie Woody; and sisters: Gladys Marshall and husband Bruce, Pauline Amador, and Vivian Marshall and companion Terry.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Pastor Allen Rash officiating.

Friends may visit following the services at the funeral home.
