Faye Trantham House

Asheville – Faye Jeanette Trantham House, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a charter member of Freedom Baptist Church, where she served as Assistant Secretary and a member of the church choir. Mrs. House was the daughter of the late Clarence and Molly Barnwell Trantham, and was also preceded in death by her sister, Louise Bible and brothers, Millard, Harold, Herman, Marvin and Kermit Trantham. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Jim House of the home; son, Rev. Don House and wife Lynn of Asheville; grandson, Joshua House of Asheville and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Freedom Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Keith Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 PM Thursday prior to services at the church.
