Evelyn Ramsey Ball

Asheville - Evelyn Ramsey Ball, 95, of 177 Lakeshore Dr. died Saturday, July 19, 2003 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Betty Ramsey and was the wife of the late Gay Theodore Ball who died in 1981. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Surviving is her sister, Hazel Smith and husband Homer of Asheville. Funeral services will held at 11 AM Monday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Chester Owenby and Homer Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends form 7 until 8:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
