Ethel Letterman

Asheville - Ethel Letterman, 88, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016. A native and resident of Buncombe County for most of her life, she had worked for many years as the cashier at J&S Cafeteria. She was the daughter of Marion Malone and Nora Hensley Letterman, and was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including her niece, Carol Hamlet and husband Jerry. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Morgan Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
