Estele Clemmons

Asheville - Estele Clemmons, 76, of 18 Old Leicester Hwy. died Thursday, February 21, 2002 at Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center. A native of Cocke County, TN, he was retired from Burlington Industries. Mr. Clemmons was the son of the late David and Linnie Margaret Norwood Clemmons. Surviving are his wife, Mary Wilburn Clemmons of the home; daughters, Deborah Ann Clemmons of the home and Melissa Lynn Moore of Enka; sons, John Keith Clemmons of Leicester, James David Clemmons and Buford Jake Clemmons both of the home; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Lily Tweed of Marshall and Maggie Rice of Spindale. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
