Asheville – Elizabeth Ann Brackett, 68, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Emerald Ridge Rehab and Care Center. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Carl Luther Brackett and Kathleen Iva King Brackett. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Carl Hardy Brackett and sister, Rose Mary Whitted. Surviving are her significant other, John Randall, Jr. of the home; children, Ann Mary Randall and John Randall both of Asheville; grandson, Jacob Randall of Asheville; sisters, Pat Henley of Lincolnton, Janice Gibson and Kathleen Whitted both of Canton; several nieces and nephews and special caregiver, Edmond Leduke of the home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, March 20, 2021 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Tim Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will have a time of gathering from 1 to 2:15 Saturday prior to services at the funeral home.
