Edna Lee Bryant

Edna Lee Duckett Bryant, 93, passed away Saturday November 17, 2012 at Pisgah Manor Health Care. A native Madison County she had lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Bryant was a daughter of the late Theodore and Zora Hipps Duckett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Bryant, daughter, Katherine Bryant, son, Howard Edward Bryant, grandson, Tommy Cutshall, brothers, Claude, Edgar and Lloyd Duckett, sister, Edith Stanley. Surviving are her daughter, Genevieve Bryant, son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Joyce, seven grandchildren included Tracy Williamson, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2 PM in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Brown officiating. Burial will follow in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
