Edna Gladys Harwood Clark

Asheville - Edna Gladys Harwood Clark, 85, of 264 Roberts Rd. died Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at the Laurels of Summit Ridge. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late William Monroe Harwood and Evie Lee Banks Harwood and was the wife of the late Kenneth Roberson Clark who died in 1988. Surviving are her sons, Robert Bob Clark and wife, Earlene of Leicester and Tony Clark and wife Floye of Leicester; sister, Marjorie Snyder of Woodfin; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 PM Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
