Edna Corn Henderson

Woodfin Frances Edna Corn Henderson, 95, formerly of 40 Jonestown Road, went to be with her Lord, Friday, May 5, 2006 at Aston Park Health Care Center. A native of Union County, GA and a resident of Buncombe County most of her life. Mrs. Henderson was a homemaker and a member of Newbridge Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Toliver Watson and Frances Dora Moore Corn and the wife of Albert Henderson who died in 1986. She was also preceded in death by her 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Surviving are several nieces and nephews including, her nephew, Harold Corn and wife, Juanita of Asheville. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Clark E. Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
