Edith S. Roberson

Candler - Edith S. Roberson, 85, of St. Paul, MN, formerly of Davis Creek Rd., died Friday December 28, 2001 at United Hospital, St.. Paul. She was a native of Transylvania County and had resided in Buncombe County for many years before moving to Minnesota 4 years ago. She was the wife of the late Hollis J. Roberson and was also preceded in death by her son, Ray Roberson. Surviving are her son, James Henry Roberson of Little Canada, MN; grandchildren, Anita Nelson of Elk River, MN, and Patrick Roberson of Tampa, FL; great grandchildren, Kasey Nelson and Jack Nelson of Elk River, MN, Evan Roberson andRebecca Roberson of Tampa, FL. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2002 at Davis Chapel United Methodist Church of which she was a member. The Rev. H.D. Houck will officiate. Burial will be in Piney Mtn. United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Anders- Rice Funeral Home.
