Edith Leona "Edie" Jackson

Leicester Edith Leona Edie Huntsman Jackson, 51, of 29 Parham Road, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Blue Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. A native of Stow, OH, she was a former resident of Raleigh and Lake Lure before moving to Buncombe County in the late 1990s. Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late Norman and Roberta Seidel Huntsman. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Doug and Tom Huntsman. Surviving are her husband, James F. Jackson, whom she married in 1998, of the home; sister, Corky Harman and step-mother, Ruby Huntsman both of Stow, OH. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Wednesday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. John T. Tiller officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
