MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - EDITH ADELE JONES WARD, 97, DIED TUESDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2000 AT GRAND STRAND HEALTH CARE CENTER. A NATIVE OF MADISON COUNTY, N.C. SHE HAD RESIDED IN MYRTLE BEACH FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS. MRS. WARD WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE WILLIAM HENRY AND MOLLIE AUSTIN JONES, WIFE OF THE LATE JOHN ARTHUR WARD AND WAS A MEMBER OF FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF ASHEVILLE. SURVIVING ARE HER DAUGHTER, MARGARET JUNE BRANSON OF MYRTLE BEACH; SON, JOHN ROBERT BOB WARD OF NEBO; 5 GRANDCHILDREN, 8 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN AND 4 GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 2 P.M. THURSDAY AT MT. OLIVE BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY WITH THE REV. JOHN HARRIS OFFICIATING. PALLBEARERS WILL BE DAVID AND TREY HARRIS, ROCCO AND VINCE CIPRIANO, KEITH DOCKERY AND FRANK BRANSON TO REGISTER ON LINE, PLEASE GO TO THE FUNERAL SCHEDULE AT www.andersrice.com.
