Dusty Ramsey

West Asheville – Dusty Ramsey, 67, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at his residence.

A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a son of Carmen Ramsey and the late Louise Swanger Pace. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Vernon Pace and grandmother, Mary Swanger.

Dusty enjoyed tinkering with old cars and loved motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson’s.

In addition to his father, Carmen Ramsey, he is survived by his daughter, Shannon Buckner; grandson, Austin; siblings: Regina Robinson and husband B.R., Rhoda Gregory and husband Melvin, Terry Ramsey and wife Mary Alice, and Anne Roberts; several nieces and nephews; and his loving pit-bull, Butch.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Green Hills Cemetery, 25 New Leicester Highway, Asheville, NC 28806, with Tim Warren officiating.
