Dorothy Elizabeth Farlow Worley

Dorothy Elizabeth Farlow Worley, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at her residence.

 A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Harley Farlow and Molly Ennes Sircey Farlow, and wife of the late Robert “Sam” Louis Worley who passed away on April 27, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her son, Louis Craig McKinney; daughter, Kimberly Dianne Worley-Brank; grandson, Chris McKinney; and 11 siblings.

 She was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church. She was always cheerful, sharing a smile with everyone she met, and never knew a stranger. She loved the Lord and her family deeply.

 Surviving are her son, Jeff McKinney; daughter-in-law, Linda McKinney; grandchildren: Nichole Messer and husband Brent, Alisha Brank, Scarlett McKinney, Tara McKinney and Shane McKinney; great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Brinson, Haylee, Payton, and Callie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Pastor Sonia Burleson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

 The family will receive friends from 1 till 1:45 PM on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
