Dorothy L. Pressley

Asheville - Dorothy Lanelle Crigger Pressley, 57, of 100 Riceville Road died Wednesday June 21, 2006 at the Laurels of Summit Ridge. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Lee and Lillie Belle Davis Crigger and the wife of the late William Eugene Pressley, Jr. who died May 2, 1996. She was also preceded in death by a brother Reuben Crigger and a sister, Martha Simmons. Surviving are her son, Billy Pressley and wife Hilda; grandchildren, Kelsie Pressley and Casey Pressley; sisters, Evelyn Parker and husband Bill and Ruth Marler and husband Johnny all of Candler. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Brockwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
