Dorothy Eggers Page

Asheville - Dorothy Ivadene Eggers Page, 93, died Monday March 31, 2008 at her home. A native of Watauga County, she had lived in Buncombe County since 1948. She retired from Broadway Hosiery Mill after 25 years of service. She was a member of West Asheville Baptist Church, the Victory Sunday School Class and the W.M.U. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn Winfield and Etta Wilson Eggers. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William Everett Page; her son, William Jerry Page; her infant daughters, Marolyn Dean Page and Phyliss Doreen Page and her brothers, Chester and Kenneth Eggers. Surviving are her daughter, Jerane Page Graham and husband Bob of Fayetteville, GA; daughter-in-law, Joanna Page of Candler; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Revs. Bob Graham and Todd Page officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Thursday and from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
