Dorothy "Dot" Stirewalt

Fairview - Dorothy “Dot” Virginia Stirewalt, 94, went home to be with Christ on Sunday May 23, 2021. She was a resident of Fleshers of Fairview Nursing Home and a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a teacher’s assistant at Fairview Elementary school for over 20 years. She was the daughter of the late George Herman Williams and the late Bertie Cauble Williams. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Fletcher Stirewalt, her daughter Kathy Virginia Stirewalt Jones and brother, G.H. Williams. She is survived by her sister Catherine Williams Wright of Fairview, son Jeffrey Neal Stirewalt (Donna Davall) of Fairview, daughter Cheryl Stirewalt Lunsford (Ronnie)of Woodfin, five grandchildren and five great grand children.
