Donald "Donnie" Scott

Asheville - Donald Donnie Scott, 50, left us to go home to be with God and his family who have already made the journey on April 19, 2008. Donnie is celebrated as a man of faith, honor, devotion and courage. Surviving Donnie is his wife of 26 years, Anita, his son Ronnie, his daughter Renee and four grandchildren. Additional survivors are his brothers Orley, David, Glen, Gene and two sisters, Ramona and Barbara. Donnie was also cherished as a little brother to the Clampett family. Donnie loved nature, flowers and especially his dog Jed. The world is a bit dimmer without you, but heaven has gained a new shining star. We will all miss you. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday at Crossroads Assembly of God, 20 South Bear Creek Rd., Asheville, NC. Come and celebrate Donnies life.
