Donald Berry Warren

Donald Berry Warren, age 82, long time resident of Cleveland TN, passed away Friday morning, October 14, 2022. He was born in Asheville NC. He was the son of the late Elmer Otto Warren and Edna Alma Jones Warren. He is preceded in death by his wife Ann Paige Willis Warren, his son Donald Richard Warren, his brother Eugene Warren, sister: Rosalee Warren Waycaster, two infant brothers and his lifelong mentors Reverend H. Richard Hall and Sister Amelia Hall.

Mr. Warren attended Lee University in the late 50’s.

For nearly 70 years, he played music for H. Richard Hall Ministries and has served as President of United Christian Church and Ministerial Association since 2003. He was a licensed minister and minister of music through UCCMA. Being a servant to the Lord’s work and gospel music were his passion. He travelled the United States and the Bahamas sharing his love of God through his anointed organ music. He was a member of the HAMM radio association in Cleveland TN.

Survivors include his daughter, Sharron Warren-Skattebo and her husband David of Cleveland, grandchildren Chrissy Lynn (James), Jennifer Warren, Ricky Warren and Tyler Casstevens, great grandchildren, Katelyn Lynn,

Savannah Ashworth, Kaci Ashworth, brother John Warren (Evetta) along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Special thanks to Brother Gerald Hicks, Paulette Hilton, Lita Esquinance and Margarette Yawn-Morgan for all the care and support they provided to Bro. Don and our entire family.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held for Mr. Warren Thursday October 20, 2022 at 2pm at United Christian Church with Pastor Danny Emerson officiating. The interment will follow at Hilcrest Cemetery with John Schrenkel, Tim Emerson, Tyler Casstevens, Daniel Acevedo, Matt Love and Mark Deibert serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearer will be James Lynn.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 until 2pm at the church.
